Tuesday meeting and congress

1) Tuesday morning meeting 7:50.

- Congress sign ups to participate/help out

- PSU sign ups. PSU is the 21-22, you will need to find your own ride there, and we need judges.

- No practice this week!

- NBA fundraiser starting next week, talk to people in your classes about buying raffle tickets,talk to people your parents know, help out and get involved!

2) Tigard Congress will take place this Thursday.

If you are interested sign up tomorrow or/and talk to Manning if you need help writing resolutions.

Tuesday morning meeting/team dinner/T-SHIRTS/Important crap.

1.) Congrats to all that went to Clackamas!

we got second in sweeps thanks to all of you, you all did a great job!

2.) Sign ups for Pacifc!

we should have sign ups soon, and everyone should sign up! It's in January and it should be lots of fun, but we're trying to get people signed up before winter break..

3.) FEES!

people need to pay these or we will be denying you to go to a tournament. If money is a problem, just let an officer know and we'll be understanding of that. If you didn't know, the fees are: $50 for ASB, and $75 for the speech team.

4.) Expectations.

we know that there has been talk about doing four events, we think this is RIDICULOUS. That is NOT the expectation, we just wanted to let all of you guys know, and no matter how you do at a tournament, you will not be a burden to us if you're trying.

5.) Fundraisers!

The Sweet Tomatoes one is going on, make sure to tell people, pass out flyers and go go go! Also we're thinking about others and we'll let you all know about those when they are closer.

6.) Team Dinner?

we're thinking about having a team dinner on Saturday the eleventh at Sweet Tomatoes! :)

7.) T-Shirts! We need ideas for T-Shirts ASAP! Be creative!

8.) Tomorrows IE practice will go as follows:

It will be the same groups as last time, we are thinking of keeping it this way for awhile.

What would have been the Tuesday Meeting

Since there was no school on Tuesday due to non existing snow here's what would have been talked about in our Tuesday Morning meeting:

1) Thanks to all those who attended the jog-a-thon (if any of you guys did...)

2) 11 days until Clackamas (Dec 4)! You must sign up by MONDAY! Do sign up, the last time I checked barely anyone was on there. Where are you guys?

3) Reminder that practice times are now at 4:30! You are welcome to still stay at the school and work on homework till then. I hope the time change will encourage more of you to start showing up to practices!

4) If we get unlucky and there is school tomorrow, debate practice will take place at 4:30! Be there!

5) Team pictures will be rescheduled for next Tuesday!!!

6) Pay fees if you haven't already, Sweet tomatoes fundraiser begins on Nov 30

NFL POINTS and other issues

NFL points for Silverton, Barlow, and Tualatin are finally in!

good job to everyone who went, and I hope you all had fun.

The Tualatin debate points aren't up yet, but they will be within the next week, promise!

CHANGING PRACTICES:

Starting on Tuesday we will be moving our practice time from after school to 4:30, but practices will still be on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We're hoping that by doing this it will make things easier for Compton to get to practice, and then that way if you wanted to in theory you could go home and come back for practice, or just stay and do homework, but practice won't start until 4:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

SIXTEEN DAYS UNTIL CLACKAMAS. EVERYONE SHOULD SIGN UP!!!!!!

Practices and Workshop Reminders!

This year our Speech and Debate practices will be on Tuesday and Thursday after school.
Tuesdays will be Speech practice,
Thursdays will be Debate practice.

A reminder for Workshop!
Set up for Workshop will be at 5:00 after school on Friday the 17th. If you participate in a sport feel free to come and help us set up after your practice. There will be PIZZA there too, so if you'd like any, bring some money to help buy PIZZA from Little Caesars. Workshop will also be Saturday, and if you're volunteering please be there Saturday by 7:15.
